We can enter the UK national phase from an international PCT application for you, or file a direct UK patent application claiming, for example, Paris Convention priority from your first filed national application.

 

We are happy to receive your detailed instructions for responding to an examination report in order to reduce costs. Alternatively or additionally, we are happy to analyse, advise and prepare any response on your behalf.

To simplify the costs for British national phase entry from an international PCT application, we offer a single all-inclusive service charge of £600 GBP (click here for present exchange rates) for filing, regardless as to the fees that have to be paid to the British Patent Office (UKIPO).

 

The UKIPO official fees (in GBP Sterling) are available by clicking here, and for British national phase entry typically comprise :

Filing fee : £30 GBP

Search fee : £100 GBP

Examination fee : £80 GBP

Citations fee : £15 GBP

 

Our hourly rate for attorneys is £195 GBP, for example, when responding to an examination report.

 

To simplify the costs for a directly filed British patent application, we offer a single all-inclusive service charge of £450 GBP (click here for present exchange rates) for filing, regardless as to the fees that have to be paid to the British Patent Office (UKIPO).

Filing fee : £20 GBP

Search fee : £130 GBP

Citations fee : £15 GBP

 

Following publication of the application at around 18 months from filing or priority, the Examination fee will become due.

 

A first annual renewal fee becomes due on the fourth anniversary of the application.
